A Pleasant Stay In Hilton London Wembley

Recently my travel adventures led me to hop on a train headed to London for a ‘comfort‘ stay at Hilton Wembley.
I was there to attend a concert in OVO Arena Wembley and decided to make the trip more relaxing and stress-free by staying at the nearby Hilton hotel. Despite having been to countless hotels, it was my first time at any Hilton branch. As you can probably guess, I was, of course, excited to finally see its insides.
The Hilton London Wembley is a 4-star hotel, and we secured our room through booking.com about 3 weeks before our stay.
The day before we got to London, I received a message from the team who wanted to confirm our arrival time. I informed them we expected to be there between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm, and received a cordial message back letting me know they were looking forward to having me there. This easily made for a good first impression…
So, is a stay at Hilton Wembley worth it? What are the rooms in the hotel like? Is the hotel wheelchair accessible? What amnesties does Hilton Wembley have? Well, let’s dive into this Hilton Wembley review!
Check-in At Hilton London Wembley.
We arrived at the hotel a few minutes after 2.00 pm, but our rooms weren’t ready yet. We knew check-in at the Hilton Wembley Hotel is usually at 3.00 pm, however, we hoped our rooms might have been ready sooner. It wasn’t, so we handed our bags to the concierge to hold and waited for check-in by the bar and The Association restaurant on the 3rd floor.
Rooms At Hilton London.

After checking in, my sister and I went to our room on the 4th floor. Ours was a twin bedroom with 2 single beds.
It had everything you’d want and expect in a twin room; a desk, a widescreen TV, warm tone lamps, harmless wall art, comfortable beds and storage space. A kettle was also available along with essentials for tea lovers like myself. I vividly remember thinking the room was much smaller than expected and its design was simple, however not much particularly stood out in its interior design.
On the other hand, I absolutely loved the bathroom interior. The black and white boxed floor tiles, the lit-up mirror and last but not least, the gorgeous sink which naturally stood out to me.
The room was also very clean and tidy which made for a very comfortable stay.

Accessible Rooms.
As a wheelchair user, of course, accessibility is super important to me when choosing where to stay. When checking in, I was given the option to have one of their accessible rooms with a roll-in shower, however, I didn’t choose this because personally, I prefer a bath.
Whilst the room I stayed in wasn’t super big, I had no issues with space when roaming around in my wheelchair.
About 3 different lifts were available so you’ll never be stranded on any floor. If you have any access needs, I’d always recommend contacting the hotel right after booking a room.
Breakfast At Hilton Wembley.
Thank goodness we paid extra for breakfast at check-in because the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. The Association restaurant transformed into a breakfast buffet in the mornings with a great selection of foods to choose from. From croissants to cereals, beans to bacon and poached eggs. There was something for everybody.
The best part? It all tasted pretty good – I left with a full stomach and empty plates!
The hotel also offers room service at an extra cost.

Amenities at Hilton Wembley.
The highlight of our stay was the indoor pool. We went in for a swim on our last day and wrapped up by embracing the heat in the sauna and steam room.
There was also a well-equipped fitness centre we didn’t use, but it’s there for those who can’t miss a leg day.
Other Amenities In Hilton London Include:
- On-site restaurant – The Association
- Indoor Pool
- Sauna and Steam Room
- Fitness Centre
- Meeting Rooms
- Buffet Breakfast with extra charge
- Room Service
- Concierge
- Free Wi-Fi (although we couldn’t get it to work and ended up giving up!)

How Close Is The Hilton London Wembley Hotel To Wembley Stadium?
I think the best thing about the hotel is its location. The location was a major contributing factor that made me choose to stay at the hotel.
Hilton London Wembley is a 5-minute walk (0.2 miles) from Wembley Stadium whilst OVO Arena Wembley is even closer than a minute’s walk. We literally exited the hotel and found ourselves in the queue for the concert.
So, is staying at Hilton Wembley worth it? If you do not intend to use any of the facilities the hotel has to offer, then I’d suggest you consider some more affordable options in its vicinity. I had a pleasant stay in the hotel so I’m sure it won’t be long till I’m back there again!
